Industrial Services

We understand the demands of industrial environments. Whether it’s a paper mill, power generation, manufacturing, chemical plant or other heavy industry, your elevators work in the most strenuous conditions possible. It’s why we’re available 24 hours a day to service, repair and inspect your elevators to ensure they’re reliable and running safely.

But we know for many companies that’s not enough – your job sited have restricted access and require compliance with safety vendors such as MICCS, PEC Safety, ISNetworld or EEI.

That’s why our technicians always comply with site-specific training requirements and background checks. We are trained for accessing elevator equipment across many industrial environments, and we understand that there will be hazards unique to your job site. We have MSHA Part 46 trained personnel that can access MSHA regulated surface mine facilities.

Our technicians complete a four year, federally-approved National Elevator Industry Educational Program (NEIEP) apprenticeship program, so you can trust their expertise. Murphy Elevator’s training program includes extensive training on topics including fall protection, electrical (qualified, non-qualified and grounding), confined space entry, lockout/tagout, hoisting and rigging, and welding and cutting. We follow your site specific instructions regarding lockout/tagout procedures and confined space entry, or any other safety topic that may require site specific special consideration

From your first call, we operate quickly to cut down turnaround time on a repair. We are always focused on minimizing your downtime in our effort to fix repairs, but we also realize the quality of the repair minimizes future downtime. For that reason, we will always coordinate scheduled repairs with your staff to minimize production interruption. Standby services during outages are also a great benefit to our industrial clients. In addition, our highly-skilled technicians can be staffed on site long term, tailored to your requirements.

We can work with your custom invoicing requirements, including working with third-party vendors such as Ariba and Tungsten Network. Our team will confirm your service via email. Should you have any questions, you will have a dedicated account representative, who works hand-in-hand with our skilled team.

We will service and repair your rack and pinion elevators, manlifts, personnel lifts, stack elevators, and silo elevators, including units made by Alimak Hek. We can aid our power generation clients in moving large equipment on lifts for stack testing.
